Join us in a unique opportunity to engage with seven of the best-known UK, English and Scottish museums, galleries, libraries and heritage bodies. Queen's is privileged to be hosting a visit from senior personnel representing these institutions in their capacity as members of the UK-wide Collaborative Doctoral Partnership Consortium. Our guests include the British Museum, National Gallery, National Museums of Scotland, National Galleries of Scotland, Historic Royal Palaces, Historic England, and English Heritage. They're here to hear about relevant research at Queen's, and to start a conversation on developing our engagement with national museums and heritage bodies – through potential collaborative research projects, and through joint doctoral studentships. This event is designed primarily for attendees at our morning seminar 'Engaging with Museums and Heritage Bodies: Starting the Conversation' (see separate listing). It is being hosted by the University's Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Research and Enterprise, Professor Emma Flynn.
